Cathy T, associate at The Perfect Touch, told me this story:
This is Captain Connor Crehan.
We met Connor through a mutual friend that was a classmate of his at the West Point Military Academy. Following his graduation from West Point, Connor periodically conducted training at Fort Sill. Because his home was in New Jersey, we included Connor in our lake house gatherings when his schedule would permit.
Upon Connor's deployment, the war took on a new, personal meaning to us. In an effort to provide some form of support, we decided to send "care packages" to Connor every two weeks during his assigment in Iraq. These packages included everything from his favorite foods and snacks to golf clubs and Jack Black shaving accessories. Connor said he was the best smelling soldier at his base - haha!
We also sent these birthday sungasses, which were worn on his 24th birthday during a celebration at a remote base near the Iranian border.
Connor returned safely to the United States and is now stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. We were so pleased he joined us for the 4th of July at Grand Lake this year. He's a very special person and will always be a great friend!
